Middle Class Abbayi, sometimes known as Middle Class Boy, is an action comedy movie directed by Venu Sriram that was released in Telugu in 2017. The movie is produced by Dil Raju's Sri Venkateswara Creations and features Bhumiks Chawla, Sai Pallavi, and Nani. Rajiv Kanakala, Naresh, and Vijay Varma all portray supporting characters.
Devi Sri Prasas composed the film's music and score.

Movie Story

Nani is a middle-class adolescent with a photographic memory who lives with his uncle in Hyderabad. Because he dislikes his sister-in-law Jyothi, an RTO officer, he has troubles with his brother's residence. Nani's older brother urges him to accompany Jyothi to the new location in Warangal. Pallavi, who he meets for the first time, proposes to him. When Pallavi comes to live with them, Nani finds she is Jyothi's sister. She confesses to him that she first saw her at his brother's wedding and fell in love with him. Jyothi discovers Nani and Pallavi's love for one another and attempts to persuade Pallavi's father (Jyothi's uncle) to accept their relationship, but he refuses. Jyothi tries to persuade Nani to pursue a career as a software developer.
In the meantime, Jyothi seizes two buses with the same number that belong to the same company.


A mobster named Warangal Siva owns Shiva Shakti Travels, and he threatens Jyothi with grave consequences. Nani acknowledges his error after learning about Jyothi's sacrifices. Nani thrashes Siva in public and cautions him when he threatens Jyothi. Nani and Siva resolve to place a bet on Jyothi's life without informing anybody else. Shiva devises different tactics to assassinate Jyothi, but Nani saves her. Siva kidnaps Jyothi and conceals her in one of the buses that she has stolen. Siva commits himself and is transported to the hospital after Nani inquires about Jyothi's location. Nani locates the bus and rescues Jyothi. Siva survives, but he loses his memories and has to start over. Nani marries Pallavi while deceiving her father into believing he is a software developer.

The film's distribution rights in the United States were purchased for 3.5 crore by BlueSky Cinemas. According to Sakshi Post, the film was released in over 150 theaters across North America.
On July 20, 2018, it was also dubbed into Hindi and uploaded on YouTube. Middle Class Aambala was the Tamil title for the dubbed version of the film.

The film grossed a total of 15 crores worldwide on its opening day. The film has grossed US$1.07 million (6.85 crore) at the box office in the United States as of January 8, 2018. Middle Class Abbayi garnered 70 crore globally at the end of its theatrical run, with the distributors' share of 40 crore.

Nikamma, a Hindi version of the movie, is scheduled for release on June 17, 2022. Abhimanyu Dassani, Shirley Setis, and Shilpa Shetty reprise their roles as Nani, Sai Pallavi, and Bhumika Chawla in the film, which is produced by Shabbir Khan Films and Sony Pictures India.

Story
