began in August 2016 in Banswada, Telangana, and continued in Texas and Colorado. The soundtrack was written by Shakthkanth Karthik, and the camera and editing were done by Vijay C. Kumar and Marthand K. Venkatesh, respectively.
When released on July 21, 2017, the film was commercially successful, producing over 9 billion rupees with a budget of 1.3 billion rupees. The film has been nominated for nine filmfare awards and won four and two SIIMA awards. Sai Paravi's performance has been named one of the 100 best performances of the last decade by the film companion.
Movie history
Varun is a non-resident Indian living in Texas, living with his brother Raju and his adopted brother Buji. As a medical student, he seeks a career as a neurosurgeon. Varun and his younger brother travel to India to marry Raju, a local from Telangana, whose family is from Banswada. There he meets Renuka's sister, Banumati. She is a beautiful and confident young woman in Banu, and she is second to none. Varun and Banu develop emotions with each other over time, but never express it. Banu worships her father and does not believe in marrying her father and leaving her. Varun is discussing his chances in the United States with his cousin Syle against India, which he finds inappropriate. To make matters worse, Banu misunderstood Valun's reference to the marriage of Shile and her lover as a marriage between Valun and Shile, hurting and misleading her. Upset Banu forgets about Varun and chooses to ignore him to hide her feelings for him. After her brother's marriage, Varun goes to America, but can't stop thinking of Banu. He decides to tell her her that he worships her. Banumati, on the other hand, reacts with contempt, angering Varun and widening the distance between the two. This is exacerbated by even more annoying behavior from both. Banu eventually agrees to marry a man of her father's choice, but even before they get married, she finds herself not like him.

Meanwhile, Renuka became pregnant and accidentally broke her hand. After that, her doctor advises her to stay in bed. Banu is sent to the United States by Renuka's father to help her deal with her pregnancy. Varun begins to be cruel to Banu throughout his stay with them. This offends Banu and the two insist before she decides to leave for India in a week. Varun was asked to drop Banu by a friend in the United States before she left. Varun dropped her off at the bus stop so she could get on the bus, and on the way they did a final fight. Varun confesses to Banu how much he loves her, and without her you can't imagine his life. Banu sees Varun's depth of love for her and rediscovers her own deep feelings for him during her expedition across the United States. Before leaving for India, Banu rushes to the airport and hugs Varun with tears. Varun discovers that Banu still loves him and flies to India a few days later to propose to her. When Banu's father knows each other's feelings, he advises her to follow her heart and marry her Varun, not the man he chose. She looks forward to marrying Varun, but is worried about leaving her father and her village behind. After her wedding, Banu prepares to leave for the United States. Renuka tells her that Varun chose to live in her settlement and practice medical care and gave up living and staying as a doctor in the United States. Varun says it is his world that worships it wherever he is. Banu was excited to approach him, and she wondered why she could have made such a great sacrifice. Varun decides to build a hospital in the area and the two have a great relationship.
